We are seeking a skilled Dim Sum Assistant Chef to support the Head Chef in preparing a variety of traditional and modern dim sum dishes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Chinese cuisine, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of dim sum dishes such as dumplings, buns, rolls, and pastries.
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and maintain portion control.
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and workstations at all times.
Follow food safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients; report shortages to the Head Chef.
Support in training junior kitchen staff when required.
Assist with plating and presentation of dishes for service.
