We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the Asia Pacific Sales Team in Singapore.

The team works together to grow our business across a diverse client base of financial institutions within predominately the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.

This specific role is a client facing role where the successful candidate will be managing commercial relationships for the company.

Responsibilities will include the renewal of existing client subscriptions as well as identifying and closing growth opportunities within both existing accounts and new logo acquisition.

  • We’ll Count on You To:

  • Tasked with both renewing subscriptions and upselling additional products and / or additional teams or through new logo acquisition

  • Identify and engage potential clients across industries including Banks, Insurers, Private Wealth, Hedge Funds, and Asset Managers.

  • Grow relationships with existing clients to continuously uncover new business opportunities across all service lines.

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth in greenspace and whitespace areas.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.

  • Provide pre-sales support in the form of presentations to clients

  • Managing and developing the company’s relationships with all subscription stakeholders.

    Maintain appropriate contact cadence in person, phone and email through the subscription cycle.

  • Be able to explain the conceptual and practical value of our services to a wide variety of audiences within the client base – Brokers, Asset Managers, Insurers, etc.


  • Attend and represent CreditSights at various conferences related to credit

  • Keep abreast of latest trends in the credit markets (products / structures, issuance volumes, staffing plans, etc.)

  • Keep clients up to date on latest technological updates that help CreditSights Research be fully integrated within a client’s workflow.

  • Work with Analyst Teams, Product Development, and Marketing groups to both give client and market feedback, as well as aid the product development process.

  • You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 8+ years in customer facing, quota carrying sales, account, or relationship management roles, preferably gained in data, financial vendor or banking, broker/dealer backgrounds.


  • Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific financial market landscape, especially how the credit markets work

  • Ability to articulate and promote the value of CreditSights content and products to help our customers solve key business problems.


  • Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding quota targets

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.


  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams.


  • Self-starter mentality with a hands-on approach, suited for a growth-phase business.


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


  • Excellent English and Cantonese both in verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluency in Mandarin is also desirable and beneficial for communicating with many of our clients.


  • This role will be based in Singapore with frequent travelling within the Greater China market, particularly Hong Kong and Taiwan.
