This role is responsible for managing, strengthening, and expanding Client Network Solutions’ strategic relationships with global accounts across the APAC region.
In addition to nurturing existing partnerships, the Director will proactively identify and pursue new global account opportunities.
The position involves overseeing all facets of customer engagement, while designing and implementing systems and processes that enhance Client’s market presence, deliver measurable value, and drive profitable revenue growth throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the geographic landscape and commercial issues in the APAC region which impact on the business, team and customer base
- Identify potential new global accounts in the APAC region for discussion with the global accounts’ leadership team
- Collaborate with local sales management to develop a clear sales strategy and review its implementation to win incremental business with global accounts
- Coordinate communication and actions across the sales teams to maintain a high level of effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Develop relationships with major account teams across APAC and with the broader global accounts team
- Facilitate quarterly meetings with regional and global leadership teams to ensure effective management of global account portfolio
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with all internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for global accounts
- Identify essential issues and manage situations appropriately according to priority and importance, adapting focus as situation changes
- Undertake business reporting as required to support sales operations and effectiveness.
- Ensure that a comprehensive appreciation of competitor activities, performance and initiatives is understood throughout the business
- Understand the financial goals and monthly performance of the business and drive activities to optimize revenue and profitability
- Develop strategic relationships and coordinate activities with regional / local partners (contractors and distributors) in support of global accounts
- Facilitate quarterly business reviews with each account and document opportunities, challenges and successes to enhance engagement and drive future growth
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or business administration preferred, but not required
- RCDD and industry certifications preferred
Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in structured cabling sales
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in global accounts selling and management
- Understanding of enterprise and data center cabling architecture, as well as successful experience selling into a global end-users
- Experience and knowledge with copper and fiber optic infrastructure solutions
