Director, HR Data & Analytics (APAC)
As Director, HR Data & Analytics (APAC), you’ll shape the region’s data foundations, ensuring clean, governed, and globally aligned insights that empower HR and business leaders to make confident, data‑driven decisions.
Reporting to the VP, Organisation Optimization & Technology (APAC), this is a high‑impact individual‑contributor role that leads through expertise and influence — setting frameworks, driving adoption, and inspiring a culture where data drives performance and people outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver under the strategic direction, focusing on HR functional data and analytics
- Partner with the clusters and region HR leaders to ensure HR data frameworks align with Enterprise standards
- Build the HR data governance framework, including business glossary, data dictionary and quality standards
- Deliver clean, reliable data that enables leaders to make evidence‑based people decisions
- Establish scalable reporting, analytics, and insights tools that empower HR and the business
- Equip HR colleagues with the skills and confidence to use data effectively in their work
- Foster a positive, data‑driven culture where people trust and rely on workforce insights
- Balance strategic vision with hands‑on delivery, setting up from scratch while ensuring adoption
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor’s degree) in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience in HR analytics, workforce planning and data governance
- Proven track record of building analytics or governance functions from the ground up
- Strong HR expertise with robust knowledge of systems and data across the hire‑to‑retire lifecycle (e.g., DarwinBox, Oracle)
- Advanced, data‑driven HR insights leveraging tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Python/R
- Ability to influence and enable diverse stakeholders across global and regional teams
- Clear communicator who simplifies complex data into actionable insights
- Business‑first mindset to connect data to HR and organizational performance
- Resilient, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented; anticipates challenges and applies forward thinking and scenario planning to deliver outcomes
