We are building the most connected and intelligent Treasury Operating System in the world and are hiring a Director of Payment Network Partnerships to lead the strategy, development, and end-to-end execution of our partnerships with global banks, fintechs, and liquidity providers.
This role will architect and grow a global partner ecosystem that powers seamless payments, cash visibility, FX, and risk management integrated into our core platform.
We are seeking a seasoned leader with deep treasury and cash management expertise, a strong network across financial institutions, and a proven track record of building partnerships that deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for corporate treasury challenges.
You will own the commercial and strategic delivery of our treasury partner ecosystem, driving partnership development and cross-functional alignment to embed partner value into our core products.
You will handle partnership frameworks, integration scoping, and negotiation of agreements with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation, with internal buy-in across functions.
Responsibilities
- Global Bank & Open Banking Connectivity: Design, develop and execute a global roadmap for cash visibility via integrations with banks and Open Banking APIs/providers.
- Strategic Partnership Leadership, Development and Management: Identify, negotiate, establish and deliver strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, PSPs, and/or payment channel partners to expand Finmo’s payments, FX and treasury solutions.
- End-to-end partnership ownership: Evaluate, execute, and align with the Chief Strategy Officer to embed partner value into core products, framework creation, agreements, and compliance/risk mitigation.
- Partnership Optimization: Maximize partner performance through operational alignment with internal teams; participate in complex negotiations and lead cost-improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Border Payments Strategy: Optimize cross-border payment flows for efficiency, compliance, cost-effectiveness and transparency.
- FX and Hedging Solutions: Develop and integrate FX and hedging products in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Treasury and Cash Management: Drive adoption of innovative cash management tools and liquidity solutions through partnerships.
- Market Intel & Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor industry shifts to inform partnership strategy and product development.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with senior executives at partner organizations and internal teams to drive results.
- Revenue Growth through Partnerships: Create new revenue streams through partner-leveraged product launches and collaboration with sales and product teams.
- Compliance and Risk: Ensure partnerships meet regulatory requirements and train internal teams accordingly.
- Audit: Manage partnership audits as required.
- Knowledge Building: Maintain and improve the Partnerships Training Program.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in payments, treasury, or cash management within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Extensive knowledge of cross-border payments, FX markets, and hedging strategies.
- Proven success building global partner ecosystems with banks, PSPs, and technology providers.
- Knowledge of payments compliance, multi-jurisdiction regulatory requirements, and related frameworks.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and execution focus with ability to scale partnerships globally.
- Experience with cross-border payments, financial institutions, and banking compliance.
- Excellent time management and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
