Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, floors, and kitchen workstations.
- Sort and organize clean items for reuse by chefs and service staff.
- Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies according to hygiene standards.
- Remove kitchen waste and recyclables regularly and ensure bins are cleaned and sanitized.
- Assist with basic food prep or kitchen cleaning as required during off-peak hours.
- Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper function and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures as per NEA (National Environment Agency) regulations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 15kg).
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts (depending on outlet hours).
