As a Distribution Coordinator, you will contribute to this vision by strengthening the foundations for short-term execution, inventory stability, and distribution continuity.
A.
Collaborative and Communication
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Regional Planning.
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on distribution objectives.
Proactively address and resolve issues or discrepancies related to distribution activities.
B.
Drive Supply Velocity
Coordinate with Supply Planners / Regional Supply Planners to align distribution center (DC) inventory with demand forecasts.
Develop and maintain robust distribution plans to ensure efficient delivery of products.
Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve service levels.
Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to improve the orchestration and execution of finished goods and third-party purchased materials to DCs and customers.
Leverage distribution systems and tools to analyze data, generate insights, and produce performance reports.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timeliness, cost efficiency, and distribution accuracy.
Provide regular updates to management on distribution performance and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously develop expertise in ERP and Advanced Planning Systems to ensure high proficiency and accurate execution.
Minimize last-minute changes by proactively engaging with stakeholders and anticipating needs.
Foster trust and build strong relationships across all stakeholder groups.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging best practices in distribution and logistics.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance distribution efficiency and effectiveness

Regulatory Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to distribution and logistics.
Promote and enforce safety practices across all distribution activities to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Diploma or Degree qualified.
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or site-based planning / scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge and experience of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, o9) and MS office skills
Ability to think critically and attention to details.
Good organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
Ability to deliver business goals through effectively understanding business needs and collaborating to influence and orchestrate activities accordingly and drive continuous improvements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in effective collaborations with key stakeholders.
