Roles & Responsibilities - Preparation of 3D models and technical drawings for structural and mechanical projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Supports design, documentation, and coordination with the engineering team.
- Interpret design specifications for structural and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, sales and project managers to ensure designs comply with local Singapore regulations and international standards.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system and ensure proper control of technical documentation and project records.
- Take parts in project meeting, design review, and improvement initiatives when required.
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Entry level or individuals without prior experience are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software to create 3D models for fabrication, testing and commissioning.
- Proficient in graphics rendering using 3D modelling software such as Blender, and Visualize to create realistic visualizations will be an added advantage.
- Capable of reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings accurately.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple drawing releases to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates critical thinking to address and resolve fundamental design challenges.
