Role Overview
The Mid-Level Drafter plays a key role in translating design concepts into precise technical documentation for construction.
This position requires a strong command of interior detailing, coordination with consultants, and familiarity with site conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings.
- Develop detailed documentation for carpentry, ceiling, partition, and M&E coordination.
- Review and cross-check drawings for consistency and constructability.
- Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure design intent and technical feasibility align.
- Coordinate revisions based on client feedback, consultant input, and site progress.
- Maintain organized drawing files and ensure proper documentation standards.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues during construction.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
- 3–5 years' experience in interior design drafting or fit-out documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp or Revit is advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of interior construction, joinery, materials, and detailing.
- Able to interpret design drawings and convert them into fully detailed technical drawings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to project timelines.
- Familiarity with local building codes and submission standards preferred.

- Experience in commercial, gallery, or corporate interior projects.
- Proactive communicator with good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of handling multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
