Your duties as Design Draftsperson are as follows:
- Prepare technical drawings such as blueprints used to build a wide array of products.
- Prepare engineering design drawings requiring originality, independent judgment, knowledge of engineering and scientific principles, and the ability to produce complex drawings of the highest level of difficulty.
- Perform stress calculations and material analysis of various components.
- Calculate and specify tolerances and allowances for components,
- Provide information and instructions to fabrication shop personnel;
- Prepare details and assembly drawings and subordinate layouts.
- Prepare the cutting list for fabrication
- Prepare architecture detailing in proper layout for client submission
- Prepare as build drawings as project process
- Coordinate schedules and other activities.
- May expedite production of material and establish delivery dates for material orders and be designated production scheduler.
- Coordinate and expedite work in production control schedule of outsourcing production process.
- Coordinate the scheduling of meetings and the assigning of responsibility for specific tasks.
- Reviews master production schedule and work orders establish priorities for specific customer orders and revise schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
- Travel to the site for as build measurements and or to understand the layout presentation
- Able to attend site meeting and present your drawings with the discussion
