About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced BC Functional Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into functional solutions, and designing the architecture for the deployment of Business Central (BC) solutions.

You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the delivered solutions meet business objectives while maintaining high standards of functionality and performance.

Main Responsibilities


+ Design end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) solutions based on business requirements, leveraging the full functionality of BC to meet client need.

+ Provide guidance on best practices, implementation strategies, and solution design principles.

+ Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for BC implementation.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert in BC and guide the team in defining the functional and technical scope of projects.

+ Configure BC to support business processes, ensuring the correct use of standard functionality, and recommend customizations as needed.

+ Oversee and review any development work to ensure alignment with business requirements.

+ Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of BC solutions.

+ Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive business process improvements.

+ Lead the integration of BC with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient processes across the organization.

+ Oversee the functional testing process to ensure that the solution works as intended, including writing test cases, managing UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and providing support during testing phases.

+ Deliver training to business users on BC functionalities, processes, and best practices.

+ Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and ongoing system improvements.

+ Keep up to date with the latest BC functionality and technology trends.

Suggest improvements to current systems and processes to optimize performance and efficiency.


Skills and Experience


+ 5+ years of experience in a functional consultant or solution architect role, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Experience with large-scale ERP implementations is highly preferred.

+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including core modules like finance, supply chain management, sales, procurement, and manufacturing.

+ Strong experience in solution architecture and leading implementations of enterprise-level systems.

+ Solid understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.

+ Experience in system integrations and working with third-party systems.

+ Knowledge of AL development and customizations within Business Central is a plus.

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

+ Strong presentation skills and the ability to lead workshops or training sessions.

+ Project management skills, with experience in leading or contributing to full project life cycles.

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

+ Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and delivering solutions that meet or exceed business expectations.

+ Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate or equivalent.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

+ Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are a plus.
