This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-supported ECC department at this animal hospital, helmed by a Board-Certified Criticalist and supported by a dedicated surgical team.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

Join a fully operational 24-7 ECC department that is preparing to officially open its services to the general public.

This practice is committed to ensuring that its team is well-equipped to provide the highest quality of care.

Currently, the team consists of 3 full-time veterinarians, 1 Criticalist on a fly-in, fly-out arrangement, and a couple of locums.

Departments

You will be part of a collaborative environment within the ECC department that aims to provide comprehensive support to patients, with the expectation of additional specialists joining soon, including Internists and a Dermatologist.

Equipment

This animal hospital is equipped with modern facilities to support veterinary care, ensuring that all procedures, treatments, and investigations can be performed with thoroughness and diligence.

Staffing Levels

The ECC department is supported by a strong surgical team, fostering a dynamic and educational environment for professional growth.

We are seeking a dedicated ECC Veterinarian who possesses a willingness to learn, strong work ethics, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Qualifications Required

Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of clinical experience, with previous ECC or rotational internship experience preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

A veterinary degree/qualifications registrable with the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) is required.
