Overview
As part of the Service Administration Division, you will work with various Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and Government agencies to oversee and manage different disability programmes and services, to ensure that they continue to support and meet the needs of persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
You will support SPED graduands in their transition and manage community-funded programmes.
Beyond overseeing day-to-day delivery, you will shape team capabilities, strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, and drive process improvements to ensure sustainable impact.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage both teams to deliver on performance targets, timelines, and service quality.
Provide guidance to both teams to perform their key functions in supporting transition for SPED graduands and managing community-funded programmes.
Stakeholder management: liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., ministry, funders and SSAs) to ensure expectations are met and issues are addressed promptly.
Coach, mentor and develop team members: provide regular feedback, support professional growth, build capabilities and succession plans.
Resource and capacity management: allocate staffing and workload, anticipate bottlenecks, plan for peak periods, and ensure sustainable work practices.
Performance monitoring and reporting: track and analyse KPIs, identify performance trends, and implement improvements to drive efficiency, quality and impact.
Champion continuous improvement through refinement of workflows, adoption of new tools and best practices, and fostering a culture of innovation.
Provide advisory and secretarial support for key projects and initiatives assigned by supervisor/management; perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Strong track record of achieving operational or project goals under deadlines and handling multiple priorities.
Excellent leadership, people management and coaching skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to break down high-level goals into actionable plans.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage different stakeholders, drive alignment and gain buy-in.
Data-driven mindset: comfortable with metrics, reporting, and analysing data to drive decision-making.
Adaptability and resilience: able to manage uncertainty, change, and scale.
Relevant academic qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) in a related field; experience in programme and project management is a plus.
