About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to join our team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining EHS programs and compliance in line with local regulations and corporate standards.

You will play a critical role in fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring operational excellence in EHS practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with local laws and corporate guidelines.

Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across facilities.

Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Promote safe work practices and deliver EHS training and awareness programs to staff and contractors.

Monitor and report EHS performance metrics; prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Manage hazardous waste, environmental controls, and sustainability initiatives.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of all statutory EHS documentation.

Support emergency preparedness planning and drills.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed EHS considerations into all operations and projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience in manufacturing, marine, engineering, or industrial settings.

Sound knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and environmental legislation.

WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management systems is an advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
