About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee safety, health, environment, and security management for large-scale construction projects in Singapore, particularly within the pharmaceutical and related industries.
This role involves driving compliance, leading audits, training, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement site HSE execution plans, procedures, and safety measures.
- Lead HSE audits, inspections, and meetings; ensure subcontractor compliance.
- Provide HSE training and enforce safety standards across project staff.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvement actions.
- Manage accident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, contractors, and suppliers on HSE matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of construction site HSE management experience, with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industries (Singapore experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local laws, BizSAFE, ISO systems, WSHMS, and GGBS.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Singapore safety management qualification required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
