Position Title:
Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
Working Location: West – Tuas (Company transport provided – Island wide) or North – Sembawang (Company transport provided from MRT to the company)
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm)
Salary Package:
Basic Up to SGD 7000 + AWS + OT Pay
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical and instrumentation systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, instrumentation, and control equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and instrumentation faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Ensure optimal performance of critical systems, such as HVAC, temperature controls, flow meters, pressure sensors, and PLC/SCADA systems
Conduct routine calibration of instruments to meet GMP and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for audits and compliance requirements
Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation equipment
Verify system performance and integration with manufacturing processes
Provide technical support to production and engineering teams to address system-related issues
Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and critical failures to minimize disruptions
Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) protocols during work activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including GMP, HSE, and company-specific guidelines
Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures when needed
Qualifications
Min.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation or a related field
Min.
1 year of working experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industries
Willingness to work in rotating shifts and respond to emergencies
Training is provided to inexperienced candidate
