What you'll be doing
- Designing and developing electrical and electronic circuits, systems, and components to meet specific product requirements
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring timely solutions aligned with stakeholder expectations.
- Manage, evaluate, and qualify component discontinuations (EOL) and/or second-source alternatives (LLI).
- Maintain and update all relevant documentation within the PLM system, including BOM, drawings, specifications, manuals, service instructions, and release notes.
- Review and execute engineering change requests and improvement proposals by assessing feasibility, risks, and cost-benefit considerations before implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and process) to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Provide engineering expertise and technical support for assigned R&D or CIT projects.
- Support global production operations and the technical support team on electrical-related matters.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in automation or equipment industries.
- Proven experience in design compliance with standards such as UL, CE, RoHS, EMI, and EMC.
- Skilled in debugging and testing using instruments like Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, or Network Analyzer.
- Proficiency in PCB layout design (Cadence) is advantageous.
