Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for preparing optimized and compliant electrical and documentation for building services and infrastructure projects.
The role supports both design consultancy and Design & Build models, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical design drawings such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD), general layouts, lighting schemes, and cable routing.
Perform detailed design calculations including voltage drop, short circuit current, and equipment sizing.
Develop Bills of Quantities (BQ), technical specifications, and material submissions.
Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to integrate M&E systems effectively.
Assist in Design & Build projects, ensuring technical compliance and optimization.
Support project meetings by presenting designs and responding to design-related queries.
Review and update drawings/documents as per QA/QC procedures and client feedback.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2–6 years of experience in electrical building services design
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical calculation tools (e.g., ETAP, Dialux).
Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, SS, IEEE).
Good attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
