Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, and fixtures according to blueprints and safety codes.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to prevent faults or breakdowns.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including faulty wiring, components, and fixtures.
Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code and statutory regulations.
Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance and reliability.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
May assist in the installation and testing of air-conditioning, heating, or other related equipment.
Guide or supervise apprentice electricians when required.
Requirements
Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.
Possess a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Certificate.
At least 4 years of relevant working experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards.
Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
Willing to work overtime or on weekends when required.
