You'll own end-to-end embedded hardware development: schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype bring-up and test, and handoff to manufacturing.
Work includes analog & digital circuit design (power management, sensors, interfaces), creating fabrication/assembly outputs, bench-level debugging (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer), and producing concise design and test documentation.
You'll collaborate closely with mechanical, and manufacturing partners to drive DFM/DFT and iterate prototypes into production.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 3 years designing embedded electronics (analog + digital).
- Strong KiCAD skills: schematic capture, PCB layout, library management, Gerber/assembly outputs.
- Solid understanding of EMI/EMC mitigation, signal & power integrity, and decoupling strategies.
- Practical debugging experience with lab equipment and bring-up of prototypes.
- Excellent written communication and ability to produce clear handoff documentation.
- Singapore citizen or permanent resident only.
Plus:
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD for firmware and EDA pipelines.
- Python for EDA automation / programmatic schematic generation (e.g., SKiDL / KiCAD Python API).
- Firmware development (C/C++), low-level drivers, RTOS experience.
- Experience with DFx, supplier handoffs, production testing, or wearable/small-form-factor designs.
