What You Do
Manage and oversee end-user services & operations, providing technical support for PCs and notebooks within a large enterprise.
Analyse end-user computing performance to optimise and ensure interoperability with security and collaboration software.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis during incidents, manage incidents, service status, escalations, and coordinate updates with management and users.
Participate in transformation initiatives to automate and optimise IT operations.
Drive improvements in endpoint and mobile device technology through new solutions.
Implement and manage workplace technology and automation infrastructure for stability and performance.
Engage in EUC projects to improve employee user experience.
Collaborate with internal units to enhance digital workspace and employee experience.
Implement solutions to monitor risks and service indicators for fast recovery.
Streamline workflows through automation to enhance efficiency.
Manage hardware and software obsolescence to ensure up-to-date technology.
Serve as 2nd level escalation for regional desktop engineers.
Work with Service Desk and IT Service teams to resolve issues affecting employee services.
Utilise Gen AI and analytics to identify service and risk gaps.
Train engineers and users on new processes and policies.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Strong technical skills in end-user computing, including desktop, Microsoft Office 365, MDM/Intune, SCCM, Windows GPOs, AD, and infrastructure domains.
5-7 years of relevant experience managing Workplace Technology and Desktop infrastructure.
Experience with Microsoft infrastructure, including M365 Office Platform.
Experience with RPA, automation scripting, and Power BI.
Hands-on experience managing PCs, mobile devices, and controls.
Ability to communicate clearly with non-IT users.
Experience in technical solutioning for deployments and support management.
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, motivated.
Creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
Relevant Microsoft certifications, network, or security certifications preferred.
Knowledge of ITIL, IT service management, and Agile methodologies.
