Associate Embedded Software Engineer
About The Role
As an Associate Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic engineering team, working on embedded software solutions for ADI’s cutting-edge products.
This entry-level position offers formal and on-the-job training programs to develop your skills in embedded software development.
You’ll work on problems of limited scope and complexity while following standard practices and procedures under regular guidance and review.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and apply basic software engineering principles and concepts
Write and debug firmware code under supervision
Assist in testing and validation of embedded software
Participate in team meetings and collaborative efforts
Document code and learn our development processes
Support senior engineers in project tasks
Develop understanding of ADI’s products and technologies
Must Have Skills
C/C++ Programming: Basic knowledge of programming fundamentals and ability to write structured code for embedded applications
Embedded Systems: Understanding of fundamental embedded systems concepts and microcontroller architecture
Debugging: Ability to use basic debugging tools to identify and resolve simple issues in code
Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems for collaborative software development
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical approach to troubleshooting technical challenges
Communication: Ability to effectively document work and communicate with team members
Preferred Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
0-2 years of relevant experience in embedded software development
