Key responsibilities & duties
Assist consultant and work with vendors in energy audits (Levels 1 to 3) and energy/sustainability consulting by:
Install energy/water measurement meters to measure energy/water performance.
Collect and compiling energy/sustainability data.
Draft energy flow diagrams, P&ID diagrams and energy audit reports.
Link up energy/water measurement instruments (IoTs) to collect energy/water data.
Work with vendors/business partners to developing/modify information system to link IoTs, databases and s/w applications to compile, analyse and present sustainability data.
Job Requirements
Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn independently) on the following:
Interpretation and basic level computer aided drafting of layout plans, single line diagram, P&ID diagrams.
Various metering and sensors used to measure energy (e.g. powermeters, flow meters, pressure gauge, thermal sensors).
Energy consuming systems such as chiller plants, compressed air systems, boilers and furnaces.
Basic IoT functions, interfaces (RS485), protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, LoRaWAN), IoT decoding software, MQTT servers and Linux.
Academic Qualifications
A minimum of:
· Diploma in Engineering (electrical/mechanical/computer engineering preferred)
Professional Qualifications
High preference for any of the following:
Singapore Licensed Electrical Worker certification (LEW)
Malaysian Competent Person's Certificate for Wireman/Chargeman/Electrical Supervisor; or equivalent.
Work Experience
Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in:
Installing configuring energy/water measurement instruments (meters/sensors).
Energy related work in the industry or built environment.
