Engineer, Fuel & Material Handling (1 Year Contract)



Job description

Assist to lead a team of Technical Officers and Technicians on the daily Plant operation to troubleshoot and follow up on equipment breakdown
Assist to plan, develop operational solutions and keep documentation records on operation activities, training and safety issues
Assist to liaise and follow up with fuel suppliers, service provider and contractors to ensure no interruption to fuel supplies and meeting operational requirements
Liaise with various maintenance team on the maintenance schedule of the equipment
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Purchasing of spares, equipment, services and contract management
Provide technical support in new project undertake by the Company
Degree in Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering (with minimum of 10 years relevant working experience)
Class 3 driving license is preferred
Experience in material handling, power, utilities, petrochemical or process plant will be an advantage
This position will be based in Jurong Island, company transport is provided at Choa Chu Kang/ Jurong East MRT station.
