Roles & Responsibilities Job Description:
- Monitor site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and work quality standards.
- Supervise and inspect ongoing works for quality, progress, and worker performance.
- Prepare isometric drawings and material take-offs (MTO) prior to project commencement.
- Plan and control material orders, track deliveries, and monitor material usage to prevent wastage.
- Coordinate works in accordance with Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and work schedules.
- Brief workers on installation methods, safety rules, and PPE requirements before commencement of work.
- Attend site inspections.
- Report daily site progress, challenges, and technical issues directly to the Project Manager.
- Follow instructions and project directives as issued by the Project Manager to meet timeline and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in plumbing & sanitary systems or M&E construction.
- Proficient in reading and preparing isometric and construction drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Familiar with local authority regulations and construction practices.
