[What the role is]
The Next Generation Programme Office (NGPO) in CAAS is looking for a strong, driven, and dynamic engineer to be part of the Info-Centric Air Traffic Management (iATM) Workstream.[What you will be working on]
Key responsibilities include:
Work with various external and internal stakeholders to gather project requirements and conduct the necessary market surveys.
Design the high-level system architecture and formulate technical specifications for the relevant project(s).
Design integration solutions between various systems, applications and databases using APIs, middleware and other technologies.
Identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of integrated systems.
Monitor the performance of integrated system as well as design testing plans for integration solution.
Work cooperatively with Project Managers to seek Approval from the relevant authorities for the procurement, design, specifications etc.
Work cooperatively with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of the project based on approved project plan and budget that meets all identified operational needs and objectives.
Identify potential integration risks, assess its implications, and recommend mitigating measures to manage and minimise project delay and impact.
Review and ensure project documents (e.g. system design document, site acceptance test document, interface control document, etc.) are delivered on time and accurate to support the various project activities.
Manage and enhance cyber-security posture (e.g. cyber defenses, mitigation measures) of the system so as to meet CAAS’, national, international standards, and requirements.
Engage with the various external and internal stakeholders to ensure that the system is properly integrated and tested to support air traffic operations.
Provide regular project updates and highlight any potential issues and its resolutions to management team in a timely manner.

Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience.
Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal
