What You'll Do:
- Assist Head of Unit (HOU) in coordinating the execution of electricity and water supply turn-on, cut-off and take meter reading jobs in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
- Assist HOU to ensure operational performance standards are achieved for STOU.
- Manage and guide field staff in performing on-site tasks such as meter verification, supply availability checks, and customer communication.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., SP PowerGrid, PUB) and external customers to resolve escalated cases and facilitate service recovery.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in the Wireless Workforce Management System (WWMS), including job status, meter readings, and follow-up actions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials for field staff, incorporating automation and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in system enhancement projects, including testing and implementation of new features in WWMS or related platforms.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards for supply activation, safety, and customer communication.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in STOU, focusing on digitization, automation, and data analytics.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
- Preferably, have some knowledge in Singapore Standard SS638 and Electricity Regulations.
- Conversant with Microsoft applications and preferably familiar with SAP systems and other IT tools such as Power BI, Gen AI and RPA.
- Possess leadership qualities with the ability to lead, supervise and motivate a large team of staff.
- Possess customer service skills and able to handle difficult customers.
- Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferably, possess class 2 and/or class 3 and has own motor vehicle.
