Job Roles
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, audits or any ad hoc activities for the bus fleet to ensure reliability and uphold authorities' requirements.
- Coordinate with Operation Schedulers to deconflict and ensure operational requirement for bus scheduling while planning for maintenance activities.
- Work closely with Engineers, Supervisors, and Operations to minimize downtime and optimize turnaround time.
- Manage work orders, prepare maintenance job run out plans, and ensure spare parts are available by forecasting for upcoming maintenance activities.
- Track maintenance progress, update records in Maximo/CMMS, document filings and report on KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet reliability.
- Any other task as required to support the department functions.
- Supervise and ensure workplace safety and health risks are identified, assessed and controlled, and provide employees with information on compliance to workplace safety and health policies.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or related field).
- At least 2–4 years of working experience in fleet, automotive, or plant maintenance planning.
- Candidate with experience in IBM Maximo (or similar systems) will be advantageous.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
