The Engineering Technician is responsible for troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems and assembly steps according to engineering drawings, work instructions.
The role requires precision, attention to detail, and in depth knowledge of our company existing products.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical, electrical, and optical components into complete systems or sub-systems
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical fastening
Use hand tools, measurement devices, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively
Guide and train team of assembly technicians on company products
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs
Monitor production process, identity and report any quality deviations or malfunctions immediately
Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Follow safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements
Technical diploma or equivalent experience
Prior experience with company product assembly
2+ years in electro-mechanical assembly or related field
Experience with tools, soldering, and mechanical assembly
Ability to read technical documentation in English
High attention to detail and manual dexterity
Able to see/identify small components on close-up, clearly
