We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test, and operationalise capabilities with game-changing technologies for national security.
The role involves working on:
- Next-generation weapons systems deployed on diverse platforms (Airborne, Air Defence, Land, and Naval) to enhance combat effectiveness
- Missiles, Rockets, and Precision Guided Munitions targeting land and naval threats
- Large-calibre weapons utilizing the latest in precision guided munitions
- Anti-air missiles deployed from air, land, and naval platforms
- Underwater weapons such as torpedoes and countermeasures to boost fleet operational effectiveness and deterrence
- Remote-controlled weapon stations to increase survivability and lethality
SCOPE OF WORK
You will work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, focusing on:
- Developing, testing, and delivering innovative engineering solutions
- Architecting and integrating top-tier systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
- Experimenting with and evaluating new technologies for operational deployment
- Ensuring products meet high standards of performance, safety, and reliability
- Collaborating with leading organizations, companies, and research institutions both locally and internationally
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- Innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new technological domains
- Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a proactive attitude
- Willingness to travel overseas for work trips
