We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test, and operationalise capabilities with game-changing technologies for national security.
The role involves working on:
Next-generation weapons systems deployed on diverse platforms (Airborne, Air Defence, Land, and Naval) to enhance combat effectiveness
Missiles, Rockets, and Precision Guided Munitions targeting land and naval threats
Large-calibre weapons utilizing the latest in precision guided munitions
Anti-air missiles deployed from air, land, and naval platforms
Underwater weapons such as torpedoes and countermeasures to boost fleet operational effectiveness and deterrence
Remote-controlled weapon stations to increase survivability and lethality
SCOPE OF WORK
You will work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, focusing on:
Developing, testing, and delivering innovative engineering solutions
Architecting and integrating top-tier systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
Experimenting with and evaluating new technologies for operational deployment
Ensuring products meet high standards of performance, safety, and reliability
Collaborating with leading organizations, companies, and research institutions both locally and internationally
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new technological domains
Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a proactive attitude
Willingness to travel overseas for work trips
