Overview
Enterprise Architect (Domain- Global Markets and Investment) at OCBC.
The role focuses on leading and shaping the architecture for the Global Markets and Investment domain, aligning with technology strategy, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
What you do
Lead and produce Architecture design for solutions (for the domain), and architecture roadmap considering Technology strategy, BU's objectives and business aspirations, architecture direction, technology trends, and regulatory requirements.
Based on as-is technology landscape and architecture, analyse and produce target Architecture and propose to stakeholders to meet business aspirations and technology architecture direction
Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build a holistic architecture roadmap and blueprint for the domain and follow through during implementation
Adopt and align to Architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on the bank’s needs, regulatory requirements and anticipated technology advances during solutioning and project
Lead key enterprise architectural design reviews/solutions/projects for the domain
Work closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, PM, Infrastructure and IT teams to understand their needs and ensure the best target architecture is implemented for the domain
Perform benchmarking on selected Technology areas and domain, as necessary
Govern and maintain adherence to bank wide architectural standards related to the domain
Ensure solutions and projects follow Group strategies to achieve: cost synergy, enhanced risk management, customer service excellence, business competitive advantage, and drive the implementation approach to align with Group Technology Architecture and Technology Roadmap
Identify and propose key initiatives with material impact to the Group, and obtain endorsements from key stakeholders
Cascade the endorsed implementation direction to the Group Operations & Technology teams
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related IT discipline
Strong system architecture and/or system integration hands-on knowledge
Business degree would be an advantage
Recognized industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, TOGAF, CISA) related to the functional area are a plus
More than 5 years of experience in Enterprise/Solution Architecture across technical (systems integration) and IT governance/management areas
Strong domain knowledge with sufficient technical knowledge on the system architecture
Experience as business analyst/technical system analyst is an added advantage
Demonstrated ability in providing cost effectiveness and right sizing
Good knowledge of technology and business trends in the financial industry
Team player with ability to influence at all levels and drive toward consensus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-organized and professional
