Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Kuiper Environmental Specialist based at either our Redmond or Kirkland, Washington facility to support priority environmental initiatives for the Project Kuiper constellation.
The role combines technical expertise with program support to enhance Kuiper’s environmental performance and regulatory compliance.
Key Job Responsibilities
Support implementation of environmental management systems
Maintain environmental compliance programs
Assist with environmental permit management and agency communications
Help develop solutions for environmental challenges
Support environmental risk assessments
Conduct facility condition evaluations
Collect and analyze environmental data
Participate in compliance reviews
Support environmental issue resolution
Stay current with environmental regulations
Assist with cross‐functional environmental projects
Help deliver environmental training programs
Support environmental stewardship initiatives
Maintain stakeholder relationships
Support environmental program implementation
Export Control Requirement:

About the Team
Working under the supervision of the Environmental Engineer and Senior Environmental Manager, the Environmental Specialist assists in maintaining and improving Amazon Kuiper’s environmental programs while supporting manufacturing operations.
The role offers opportunities to work at the intersection of aerospace technology and environmental compliance, contributing to Kuiper’s mission of global connectivity while ensuring environmental excellence.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
1+ years’ experience in EHS environmental compliance, preferably in manufacturing
Knowledge of key environmental regulations (CAA, CWA, RCRA)
Experience in environmental data collection, analysis, and regulatory confidentiality
Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated rapid learning ability and exceptional performance
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of environmental management systems (e.g., ISO14001)
Experience in environmental compliance in aerospace manufacturing
Experience with Washington State environmental regulations
Demonstrated project management skills, particularly in environmental projects

The base pay for this position ranges from $68,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $152,700/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay depends on location and may vary based on experience.
