Purpose
To inspect products according to the inspection plan and ensure products meet customer specifications.
Key Area of Responsibilities
Perform CMM inspection of in-house parts (repeat and First Article Inspection (FAI) parts) to ensure compliance with the inspection plan and customer specifications.
Perform CMM Offline Programming to prepare the CMM program for FA inspection and save time.
Update and monitor the Statistical Process Control (SPC) chart to ensure a stable manufacturing process.
Perform in-process and final QC inspection of in-house parts (repeat and FAI parts) to ensure compliance with the inspection plan and customer specifications.
Record the inspection results in the inspection checklist and Inspection Method Sheet (IMS).
Prepare the outgoing inspection report as per customer requirements.
Move the completed inspected parts to the next operation to ensure parts flow according to the routing step.
Raise Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any non-conformance found to ensure rejection is recorded.
Schedule Material Review Board (MRB) meeting to make disposition for the non-conformance parts.
Monitor inspection schedule using the dashboard to ensure minimum backlog.
Support and participate in company improvement programs.
Requirements
NITEC/Higer NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision or Industrial Engineering).
At least 1 year of experience as a mechanical assembly technician in the manufacturing assembly environment.
WSQ Workplace Safety in Metal Work (training will be provided).
Basic knowledge in mechanic and electrical theories.
Basic knowledge on Microsoft office application (Excel.Words).
