Responsibilities
Manage end‑user computing (EUC) activities, engage users and provide solutions as needed, support IT Call Centre, IT Care, Onsite Engineers and Data Centre operations, assist M365 application support, coordinate IT resources for teaching facilities, install and test academic software, liaise for procurement, manage printing services, support university events, track assets and licenses, ensure device security, project manage endpoint solutions, maintain EUC policies.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Proven end‑user computing management experience.
- Strong knowledge of EUC technologies and trends.
- Good project management skills and experience managing outsource teams.
- Knowledge of Help Desk Operations and IT support in education/service industry.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 Office applications.
- ITIL, MCP, MCSE certifications advantageous.
- Technical background with business orientation, aligning technologies to university operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict‑defusal skills.
- Procurement and inventory management experience essential.
- Team player who can motivate and develop others.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
