Senior Event Technology Project Manager

Looking for a Senior Event Technology Project Manager to lead and deliver world-class event experiences-both in-person and digital-for audiences ranging from small executive gatherings to large-scale events.

In this role, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of event technology solutions, from registration platforms and digital engagement tools to onsite setups.

You'll partner closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution, seamless digital experiences, and unforgettable moments.

This is a client-facing role where you'll act as both strategist and hands-on project leader-consulting on event tech solutions, managing budgets and timelines, and supervising support teams to make sure every detail is covered.

What You'll Do

  • Lead event technology workstreams such as registration, content scheduling, mobile apps, and digital platforms.

  • Manage high-profile events (10,000+ in-person / 200,000+ virtual) from concept to delivery.

  • Consult with clients on event tech builds and configurations, ensuring tailored solutions.

  • Oversee vendors, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Supervise onsite and remote teams, ensuring smooth attendee registration and digital engagement.

  • Support sales demos and lead technical discussions within your expertise.

  • Train teams, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years' experience in event technology or event project management.

  • Strong background with platforms like Rainfocus, Swoogo, Stova, Cvent, Eventbase, Airtable (or similar).

  • Proven track record delivering complex, high-touch events from start to finish.

  • Experience leading teams and managing vendors; supervisor experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

  • Familiarity with housing management and onsite registration tools is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
