Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Operation Assistant to support the planning and execution of events from concept to completion.

The Events Operation Assistant will play a vital role in coordinating logistics, communicating with vendors and attendees, and ensuring all aspects of an event run smoothly.

This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including conferences, corporate functions, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

  • Support the Events Manager with logistics such as venue setup, equipment rentals, catering, signage, and transportation.

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of event needs.

  • Coordinate registration, guest lists, RSVPs, and on-site check-ins.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing event materials, managing schedules, and tracking expenses.

  • Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly and resolve issues as they arise.

  • Assist in post-event evaluation, including gathering feedback and preparing reports.

  • Maintain inventory of event supplies and promotional materials.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and event regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or a degree.

  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support preferred but we welcome applicants with no prior experience.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of event management tools is a plus.
