About Halfway House
Rise Above Halfway House is the first secular halfway house for women offenders undergoing community rehabilitation programmes, and is the second all- women residential halfway house in Singapore.
It is structured with a range of programmes and interventions to provide a safe and holistic therapeutic space for women residents to rebuild their lives as well as reconnect with family and community.
Job Responsibilities
- Administrative & Clerical Support
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth Centre operations.
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, filing, and updating case records.
- Handle phone calls and general enquiries.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies to support team productivity.
- Operations & Facility Management
- Oversee office supplies, assets, and inventory, including procurement and replenishment.
- Assist in maintaining facilities and equipment for a safe, functional workspace.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and logistics.
- Implement and refine operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Fiscal Support, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure proper documentation to meet compliance, audit, and funding requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets and track project expenditure.
- Process monthly invoices in line with organisational workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection when handling client and organisational information.
- Support policy and procedure implementation in line with halfway house regulations.
- Programme & Client Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating halfway house programmes and activities.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to programme and social work teams.
- Maintain accurate client databases to track participation and progress.
- Prepare materials, forms, and documents for client engagement and outreach.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- Able to commit for 4 months
- At least 3-5 years of relevant administrative or executive support experience, preferably in the social service, healthcare, or non-profit sector.
- Experience in handling confidential information, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and liaising with stakeholders is essential.
- Familiarity with sound financial processes, social service sector lingo, or working in regulated environments (e.g., halfway houses) is an advantage.
