Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Head Chef in menu development and preparation.

  • To maintain high standards of food quality, safety and hygiene.

  • To work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient service delivery.

  • To manage inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques.

  • Able to commit to long working hours (10am-10pm with 2hr break).

  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in culinary arts.

  • Knowledge of business continuity principles.

  • Experience in managing teams and inventory control.
