Executive Chef, to join our team! As the Executive Chef of Shangri-La Singapore, you will lead and oversee the culinary operations across the hotels dining concepts.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that reflect Shangri-Las legendary hospitality, while ensuring operational excellence, food safety, and team development.
Job Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership & Menu DevelopmentDesign and innovate menus that reflect Shangri-Las brand identity and seasonal offeringsEnsure consistency and excellence in food quality, taste, and presentation across all outletsLead culinary innovation while preserving authenticity and cultural relevanceOperational Management which includes overseeing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and platingManage kitchen budgets, food costs, labor costs, and inventory controlImplement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulationsTeam Management & Development which include recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary teamFoster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvementConduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessionsGuest Experience & Quality AssuranceEnsure guest satisfaction through consistent culinary excellenceCollaborate with F&B and service teams to enhance the overall dining experienceAddress guest feedback and implement improvements promptlyWork closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to align culinary strategies with business goalsSupport marketing and promotional initiatives through culinary contributions Job Requirements
Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotelMinimum 15 years of culinary experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of international cuisines and specialty culinary techniquesExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsCulinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred
