The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development and transformation of the built environment sector, to improve Singapore’s living environment.
One key transformation area is Advanced Manufacturing and Assembly (AMA) to enhance construction productivity both on-site and off-site.

What you will be working on
You will be a policy officer in charge of accelerating the drive towards higher construction productivity in both public and private construction projects.
The team’s responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
Formulating policies and frameworks to drive adoption of productive initiatives such as Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA)
Exploring innovative design and/or construction management approaches to raise construction productivity
Engaging industry stakeholders (including other public agencies and industry practitioners) to track, review and assess productivity impact of new technologies, systems and innovative solutions
Engaging industry stakeholders (including other public agencies and industry practitioners) effectively to understand the challenges impeding productivity improvement and secure buy-in to ensure smooth policy implementation
Conducting productivity data management and analysis to monitor and ensure relevance and effectiveness of measures put in place to raise productivity
What we are looking for
At least two years of experience working on construction projects, preferably in capacity of a developer (including public agencies), design consultant or main contractor.
A bachelor’s degree in construction / project management, architecture, engineering, or other BE-related disciplines
Strong analytical, communication and writing skills
Is resourceful, able to work well independently and in a team; and have a positive mindset
