Service Operations
Ensure punctual train services and make adjustments to meet customer needs.
Report and address equipment faults, coordinating with relevant staff for quick recovery.
Manage track access and work possessions according to rules and procedures during traffic and non-traffic hours.
Safety and Compliance
Maintain a safe environment for customers, staff, and contractors.
Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
Enforce transit rules and report non-compliance.
Procedures and Improvements
Review, develop, and improve procedures, manuals, and local instructions.
Provide feedback on train timetables and develop new ones when required.
Staff Training and Mentoring
Mentor and train new staff during on-the-job training at the Operations Control Centre.
Perform other duties as directed by his/ her superiors.
Requirements
Degree in any discipline or Diploma with minimum 5 years' working experience, preferably in an Operations Control Room environment
Willing to perform shift work, including night shift, weekends and Public Holidays
Ability to identify colours
Able to operate computer-based control systems
