Job Description
The successful candidate will support and implement new and/or review existing cabin safety and security standards, policies and procedures and communicating effectively to crew members to manage flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local and international regulations governing cabin and/or cabin crew operations.
• Ensure that cabin crew adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and to close any safety gaps (if any) found during an investigation of potential safety lapses.
• Preparation of various communications to improve the learning experience of cabin crew to ensure that safety knowledge retention is well-retained for operational duties.
• Engage and collaborate with internal Business Units to follow up on matters raised pertaining to the safety of cabin operations through various reporting channels in Cabin Crew Voyage Reports (CCVR).
• Engage regulatory authorities to mitigate foreseeable risks to ensure new policy, procedures or operations are conducted within reasonable safety limits.
• Analyse and conduct risk assessment for the management of operational risks for cabin crew operations.
• Oversee and monitor the quality of cabin operations.
• Review administrative documents to ensure they remain current and compliant and with cabin safety policies and regulations.
• Organise campaigns and publish communication collaterals to promote safety, security, and a healthy lifestyle for cabin crew.
Requirements
• A university degree in any discipline is acceptable.
• The following experience is not a must but would be an advantage:
Prior experience as an aircrew or aviation-related role.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good observational skills, with an investigative and inquisitive mind.
• Strong written competency for investigation reporting and communications to crew population.
• Good analytical thinking and digital skills would be an advantage.
