What you will be working on:
1.
Oversee, guide, and manage liquids and solids operations and processes at Ulu Pandan WRP to ensure reliable treatment unit operation and that treated effluent and biosolids meet quality standards.
Site tasks include:
a.
Adjusting flow distribution to treatment streams
b.
Adjusting aeration, desludging, and wasting controls on-site
c.
Troubleshooting liquid and biosolids treatment processes and equipment issues
2.
Prepare and present monthly plant performance reports covering water/biosolids quality, resource management, and equipment status, along with SOPs and response plans.3. Prepare maintenance schedules, ensure timely execution of planned works, and perform routine equipment inspections for maintenance follow-up.4. Implement and oversee equipment servicing and maintenance, including responding to emergency calls and plant activation outside office hours.5. Coordinate with contractors for corrective and predictive maintenance, analyze and troubleshoot faults, and recommend repairs.
Ensure safety compliance.6. Plan and coordinate shutdowns for maintenance with Mechanical and Electrical/ICA staff to rectify defects.7. Manage operational and maintenance budgets (OPEX and CAPEX), monitoring expenditures to stay within FY allocations.8. Manage shift schedules and overtime for operational staff.9. Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and evaluate tenders for plant upgrades and maintenance works.
Manage supply, operation, and maintenance contracts.10.
Handle procurement activities via WOG ACE and Asset Management System, including raising purchase orders, works orders, and certifying payments.11.
Oversee fixed and low-value assets and plant inventories.12.
Develop and implement projects to improve operational efficiency, safety, energy use, and equipment resilience.13.
Ensure safety compliance through permits, toolbox meetings, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
