What the role is:

The Singapore Courts - comprising the Supreme Court, State Courts and Family Justice Courts - is one of the three constitutional pillars of government in Singapore.

Known collectively as SG Courts, we are integrated and coordinated to serve as one judiciary.

As an organ of state, the judiciary’s function is to independently administer justice.

Headed by the Chief Justice, we are a forward-looking, innovative and trusted judiciary.

What you will be working on:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and enforcing aesthetic consistency and functionality standards across web pages
  • Testing web pages across browsers, operating systems and devices
  • Ensuring functionality and efficiency of sites and webpages
  • Maintain, configure and troubleshoot web pages
  • Ensure site security of permissions and login pages
  • Monitor and analyse site performance
  • Address user issues
  • Formulating and advising solutions for users across different departments
  • Testing and improving the design of the website
  • Designing visual imagery for web and ensuring that they are in line with branding
  • Working with different content management systems
  • Designing sample pages including colors and fonts
  • Arranging user training sessions and meetings
  • Any other tasks as given by reporting officers

What we are looking for:

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in visual design tools
  • Familiarity in web programming languages such as HTML and CSS
  • Good understanding of content management systems
  • Good understanding of search engine optimisation principles
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Creative and open to new ideas and learn new techniques
  • Project management and organisational skills
  • A team player and yet able to work independently
  • Strong foundational IT skills
  • Meticulous and diligent

Note: The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
