We're searching for a Principal Engineer to be part of our Facilities Departmentdiverse team of talent, to provide facilities support pertaining to Ultrapure Water and Wastewater systems so as to ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications.
What you will be working on:
- Responsible for responding and troubleshooting all system failures, generate 8D reports, and manage report database.
- Plan, manage and develop predictive and corrective maintenance.
- Track uptime, downtime, MTBF and MTTR of chemical and gas systems.
- Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering database in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, critical system load and capacity, and system manuals.
- Responsible for alarm management to ensure excellent operations of TGCM.
- Ensure service teams are provided with daily schedules, and maintain consistent communication with the teams to ensure all activities are completed in an established timeframe.
- Participate in review meetings by preparing and discussing critical engineering information pertinent to current operation status and customer satisfaction issues.
- Develop and implement operation and engineering SOP and RA.
- Perform FMEAs and implement solutions and recommendations.
- Manage inventory control, facilitate administration of parts ordering, and identifying critical components.
- Drives operational and engineering excellence for all service teams and operation teams.
- Training of engineers and technicians on operation and maintenance of systems.
- Ensure high standard on safety and housekeeping and assist in internal & external audits.
- Generate reports and presentations on all equipment failures, system enhancements, projects, engineering and operations activities.
- Lead startup, commissioning, installation of all process systems, ensure all system manuals and drawings are archived properly.
- Comply with all relevant standards, legislations and codes of practice, etc.
- Lead all improvement plans.
- 24 hour standby for emergency activation or shutdown
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties when necessary.
More about you:
- Master / Degree in Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 5-10 years working experience in semiconductor environment, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry preferred.
- Basic engineering knowledge, which may include knowledge in water treatments.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft business applications
- Good problem solving skills
