Job Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of chemicals in paper & pulp, aerospace, oil and gas, scrutinize and advise on formulation feasibility, raw material and finish products handling, re-work products that fall out of specifications and chemical production.
- Responsible for production processes and its efficiency, ensuring optimization of production capacity to increase productivity.
- Ensure that production request and orders are being fulfilled to customer required schedule.
- Continuously look and suggest improvements to production facilities, procedures and increase throughput
- Possess electrical knowledge for equipment's used for chemicals.
- Work on plant expansion plans including project design, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram closely with management with proposal and feasibility studies.
Proactive follow up and high sense urgency preferred.
- Work closely with Maintenance person on major/minor projects, modification & repair of plant equipment.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedule is being adhered to and license renewal for plant equipment's are implemented in a timely fashion.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of monthly stock takes.
- Ensure HSEQ rules and guidelines are adhered to in the factory.
- Ensure that company has the relevant license for all raw materials handled and advise when dealing with new formulations that the company does not have necessary license.
- Ensure that ISO is being upkept and followed.
Ensure that RA complies with requirements.
- Fulfils product quality First Time Pass Rate target and other quality expectation set by management.
- Waste disposal evaluation
- Other factory matters that happen time to time or other factory matters that is tasked by management to do.
Job requirements
- Degree in related field such as Engineering or Chemical
- Min 10 years' experience in factory processes or plant processes
- Strong in leadership and Lean Management
Working Hours:
8:00am – 5.30pm (Mon – Fri)
8:00am to 1:00pm (Sat, If required)
