Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, you will provide failure analysis and advisory services targeted at a wide range of industrial clients within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engineering failure analysis (FA) and materials-related testing to identify root cause of failures.
Liaise and communicate with industrial customers, providing consultation and advisory services.
Prepare proposals, site surveys, laboratory analysis, reports, presentations.
Render support in lab and quality management.
Key Requirements
Minimum a Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
PhD/Masters will be an advantage.
At least 3 years of working experience.
Experience in FA, material testing in laboratory environment and consultation field preferred.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in major material analytical equipment such as SEM, EDX, XRD, metallurgy examination.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Has an inquisitive mind for new knowledge in addition to having excellent analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects as a team player as well as an individual contributor.
Familiar with ISO17025 quality management system.
