Job Responsibilities
Assist General Manager and Restaurant Manager in spearheading the successful opening of the Restaurant.
Assist in planning, coordinating and managing staff and services to ensure efficient restaurant operations and customer service standards.
Formulate and implement operating procedures and standards, manage and develop team members, and liaise with executive management.
Work with team members in service and food preparation to minimize wastage and increase productivity.
Monitor cashiering procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Inspect table set-ups and ensure cleanliness and order in the restaurant environment.
Review reservation book, pre-assign tables, and follow up on special requests.
Ensure availability and good condition of food menus and wine lists for each meal period.
Anticipate busy times and organize procedures to handle extended waiting lines.
Respond to guest comments, requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Supervise, mentor, train, schedule, and evaluate team members.
Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, and mutual respect.
Monitor guest reactions and confer with service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain team member files and approve schedules and flex day requests.
Coordinate training of all staff as required.
Coordinate inventories and orders for food and beverage products, supplies, and equipment.
Maintain guest profiles and take appropriate actions as necessary.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Certificate or Diploma in Restaurant Management or extensive F&B experience.
Experience
A minimum of one (1) year experience in managerial roles at 5-star hotels or deluxe restaurants with prestigious Michelin Star and Black Pearl Diamond credentials.
Other Prerequisites
Possess a comprehensive set of F&B service and operations skills.
Enjoy problem solving and think outside-the-box in difficult situations.
Team-oriented approach to management with open communications.
Capable of building and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Well-versed in F&B operations and Quality management, with expertise in Microsoft Office tools.
Have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is required.
