Job Description for:
· F&B Front of House Team Member
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Guest Service & Interaction
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers with seating, menu questions, and service-related inquiries.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure customer needs are met promptly and courteously throughout their visit.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
2.
Order Management & Cash Handling
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Process transactions, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts.
- Ensure accurate billing and change handling in compliance with company procedures.
3.
Dining Area Management
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front-of-house areas, including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Monitor table turnover and coordinate with back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Set up and break down the dining area, including refilling condiments and resetting tables.
4.
Team Support
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and back-of-house teams to relay orders and requests.
- Assist in coordinating large groups, takeout orders, or special seating arrangements.
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure timely service and operational efficiency.
5.
Safety & Hygiene
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including hygiene protocols for FOH areas.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front of house or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using reservation and point-of-sale systems.
